Dr. Ayesha Siddiqa is an independent security
analyst and strategic affairs expert and author. She was born on
April 7, 1966.
She writes articles for Pakistani Newspaper Dawn and Daily Times. She is
also author of several books.
She started her career as a civil servant and she also worked as a Deputy
Director in Audit Defense Services.
She is a visiting scholar at the Johns Hopkins University's School of
Advanced International Studies , teaching Pakistan's political economy and
the history of Pakistan.
