Yasmin Lari is the first Pakistan female
architect. She was born in 1941 in Dera Ghazi Khan. She got her early
education in Lahore and received her graduation degree from Oxford School of
Architecture. Naval Officers Housing , Taj Mahal Hotel , Angoori Bagh
Housing and PSO House, Karachi
are examples of some of her Professional Work.
She received Sitara-e-Imtiaz, one of the highest civil awards, by Government
of Pakistan in recognition of her services to the architectural profession
and heritage conservation in 2006.
